Sterilization & Infection Control
Your health depends on what you cannot see — so we make our hygiene visible and verifiable.
Autoclave sterilization · single-use disposables · surface protocols after every patient

Most dental anxiety is not about pain — it is about germs. Will the chair be clean? Was that instrument used on someone else? After COVID, these questions feel even more urgent, and they should.
At Dentara, infection control is not a back-room process. We follow hospital-grade sterilization for every instrument, use disposables wherever possible and wipe down surfaces between each patient — so you can relax the moment you sit down.
We believe trust grows when safety is visible. Ask us to walk you through our sterilization area anytime — patients who see our process rarely need convincing again.
How we protect your peace of mind
Safety is not only clinical — it is emotional. These are the promises we keep before any instrument reaches your mouth.
Autoclave sterilization
Reusable instruments go through sealed pouches and high-pressure steam cycles — the same standard used in surgical settings.
One patient, fresh setup
Gloves, suction tips, bibs and covers are new for every visit. You never share what should be single-use.
Open-door policy
We welcome questions about hygiene. Seeing our process turns worry into confidence — most anxious patients tell us this helps most.
What you can expect
- Every operatory is disinfected before you enter — chairs, lights, handles and trays.
- Instruments arrive in sealed sterilized packs opened in front of you when you ask.
- Staff follow hand hygiene and PPE protocols consistently, not just on inspection days.
- If you have specific concerns (immunity issues, recent surgery), tell us — we adapt protocols for you.
How it works at Dentara
Surfaces and equipment are wiped with medical-grade disinfectants after every patient.
Tools are cleaned, pouched and autoclaved — logged batches for traceability.
Fresh disposables, sterile instruments and a room ready before you are seated.
Questions patients often ask
Honest answers reduce fear. If yours is not listed, call us — we would rather explain twice than leave you guessing.
How do I know instruments are really sterile?
Sterilized packs have colour indicators that change only after a successful cycle. We open them at the start of your procedure — ask anytime.
Is it safe to visit after being unwell?
If you have an active contagious illness, reschedule — we protect you, our team and other patients. No penalty for honest rescheduling.
Do you sterilize handpieces and drills?
Yes. Anything that contacts the mouth is either heat-sterilized or single-use.
